Creating Memorable Experiences

What are some of your most memorable experiences? 
 
I believe that life is so much more than money and material possessions and that life is all about creating memorable experiences. 
 
Memorable is defined as “worth remembering” because it’s special or remarkable in a positive way. How we impact people, where we travel, why we chase purpose and who we surround ourselves with will ultimately determine how we allow positivity into our environment and live our lives to the fullest.  
 
At the end of our lives, I don’t believe we’ll wish we worked more or even kept a cleaner home. I believe we’ll wish we explored more of the world and created more memories with the people that we love.

Patrice Grimes: Unleash the Peace

Have you ever experienced conflict and didn’t know how to resolve it? Have you ever made your own issues more insignificant than others? 
 
So many of us attempt to avoid conflict by performing our way into acceptance or approval, yet when we actually come face to face with an issue, we realize that it’s rooted in a much deeper internal struggle.
 
Conflict begins within. Before we can address conflict resolution, we must first resolve the issues within our own hearts and minds. Avoiding conflict can cause more pain, but understanding conflict can bring us true peace. 
 
Today’s guest is not only a Purpose To Platform and Command The Stage graduate, but she’s also on a mission to spread the message that the root of peace is identity.
 
Patrice Grimes is known as The Peace Curator, a Transformational Speaker, and is the Founder and CEO of The Oasis Space, LLC. A seasoned award winning HR professional, Patrice utilized her relationship building, coaching, and leadership skills in the corporate world to transition into a broader holistic approach that starts outside of the workplace. She now coaches and serves as a place of refuge for high achieving, "go-getter" women, and helps them to identify HEALTHY conflict resolution strategies while embracing their authentic identity to become successful P.E.A.C.E. Pursuits.
 
Patrice believes one of the major keys of conflict resolution is to ditch performance based complexes in exchange for embodying peace. Jabrita Shelton: I Won’t Apologize for Purpose

Have you truly healed from past trauma?
 
Any trauma that we experience in life is attached to both our mental health and our physical health. Whether personal, family related, physical, sexual, or childhood trauma, we tend to internalize and carry trauma in our body years before triggers are ever revealed. 
 
So many of us are called to do great things, but trauma and fear of judgement stops us from pursuing purpose or even stepping out in faith. We have the power to walk ourselves through healing, but first we have to let go of the madness that keeps our minds imprisoned.
