Jamie Kern Lima: You Get What You Believe
Thursday Feb 25, 2021
Thursday Feb 25, 2021
Do you feel like your business isn’t growing at the rate you hoped it would? Have you ever been told “No” or told that you weren’t the right fit for your business?
It seems like many of today’s entrepreneurs expect to achieve success overnight. They look up to media moguls who flaunt their current status of influence, but fail to reveal their growing pains and the challenges that brought them to their breakthrough. What hurts me the most is that premature purpose chasers don’t understand how many stories of success are a direct result of many years of rejection.
It make take 3-5 years before you make any money from your business or before the dream company you want to partner with considers your product. Regardless of your expected timeline, your dream should never be deferred due to finances or because companies fail to believe in you. Today’s guest is a dear friend of mine and a very successful business woman who spent three years hearing the word “No”, yet ended up landing her big break at the risk of losing her entire business.
Jamie Kern Lima started IT Cosmetics in her living room and grew the company into the largest luxury makeup brand in the country. She sold the company to L’Oréal in a billion-dollar deal and became the first female CEO of a brand in its history. Jamie is a mother of two and an active investor, speaker, and thought leader who is passionate about inspiring and elevating women. She’s also an active philanthropist who has donated over $40 million in product and funds to help women face the effects of cancer with confidence. Her love of her customers and remarkable authenticity and belief eventually landed her on the Forbes America’s Richest Self-Made Women list, and today, Jamie is here to share how she overcame years of rejection with lessons from her new book, “Believe IT: How to Go from Underestimated to Unstoppable”.

Natalie MacNeil: Your Life Is Speaking to You
Thursday Feb 18, 2021
Thursday Feb 18, 2021
Have you ever become so focused on chasing purpose and making things happen, you don’t allow things to flow naturally?
When it comes to redefining wealth, our lives typically tell our story without us having to say a word. Our actions reveal our greatest strengths and weaknesses, and our rituals and daily practices reflect what we hope to attract in life. Believe it or not, our lives have a way of speaking for themselves.
However, I also believe that life also has a way of speaking to us. One of the things that hold us back is the lack of trust we have in listening to our gut, or believing our intuition, our desires or our dreams. Today’s guest is here to help us tap into divine alignment and open our ears to what life is trying to teach us.
Natalie MacNeil is an Emmy Award-winning media entrepreneur, founder of the Embodiment Coaching Institute, and bestselling author of five books, including her latest book: The Rituals: Simple Practices to Cultivate Well-Being, Deepen Relationships, and Discover Your True Purpose. Devoted to expanding human potential through her Transformational Embodiment Coaching Method, Natalie has been named one of "27 Women Changing the World" by Inc. and a "transformer of our generation" by Levo. The Six Pillars of Wealth - Part 3
Thursday Feb 04, 2021
Thursday Feb 04, 2021
When most people initially think about pursuing purpose, they usually jump right into deciding the type of work they need to do in order to earn the amount of money they hope to make. As a finance expert for the last decade, I’ve received tons of inquiries regarding how to successfully turn your passion into profit, but none that desire clarity around purpose. I believe work and money should be the last things we focus on because purpose should be our priority.
Over the last three weeks, we’ve learned the truth about wealth and applied lessons from the pillars of wealth to help us live purpose driven lives. We mastered our Fit pillar when we decided to mentally become the best version of ourselves and physically commit to our own individual process. We progressed in our People pillar by enrolling others in our vision and enforcing stronger boundaries in our personal relationships. We cleared our Space pillar when we removed something small in our space and added touches of beauty, and we grew in our Faith pillar when we learned how to operate in integrity and make time to actually practice the faith we profess.
We welcomed the idea of redefining wealth together and after mastering the first four pillars, I believe we’re finally ready to tackle work and money. Tune in this week for our final episode of our 3-part series, Results Not Resolutions where we’ll be discussing the Work & Money pillars.
Key discussion points include:
05:26 - The Work Pillar
08:40 - Answer The Call
15:11 - Design Your Ideal Day
20:38 - The Money Pillar
24:23 - Buy Back Your Freedom
My focus is to get you to adopt new patterns and rituals that actually support who you want to become and I’m excited to help you build monetary wealth while operating in your purpose.

The Six Pillars of Wealth Takeaways - Part 3
“The hard work in all of this is the heart-work.” - Patrice Washington
“When you’re working for more than a paycheck, you bring a spirit of enthusiasm to everything you do.” - Patrice Washington
“When we rationalize, we ‘ration-out-lies’.” - Patrice Washington
“You can follow your gift to your purpose.” - Patrice Washington
“If people can benefit from your gift it has value, and when people continually seek you out for your gift, it’s a calling. Do the work you’re called to do.” - Patrice Washington
“Don’t relegate your greatest talent to be a hobby or a side hustle.” - Patrice Washington
“When we’re not operating in purpose, it makes it difficult to honor the priorities that are going to get us to the wealth we say we want and the goals we say we have.” - Patrice Washington
“Your money is a byproduct of how much you invest in solidifying the first five pillars: fit, people, space, faith and work.” - Patrice Washington
“If you don’t know how to rest when you need to, all the material wealth in the world can’t help you.” - Patrice Washington
“Money is just one element of a wealthy life.” - Patrice Washington
“You no longer have the luxury of allowing yourself to stay confused about things that have been answered over and over again.” - Patrice Washington

The Truth About Wealth
Thursday Jan 14, 2021
Thursday Jan 14, 2021
If you consider yourself a Purpose Chaser, then you know that every year we start the year off with a series called “Results, Not Resolutions”.
Around this time of year we hear many people sharing their New Year Resolutions and too often we make resolutions that we either don’t really want or we want, but don’t know how to actually achieve it in order to get results. I’m committed to helping you reach a sense of clarity and awareness of who you are, what you want, and who you need to become in the process, so that you take practical steps to reach your actual goals.
The truth about wealth is when we don’t define it for ourselves, others will define it for us. In this community, we are on a mission to redefine wealth and we believe that wealth is more than money and material possessions. We believe in the 12th century definition of wealth, which is the condition of well-being or happiness and we use the six pillars of wealth as guiding points to help us take practical steps toward attaining the wealth we desire. The six pillars are:
Fit: Becoming your best self
People: Taking care of relationships that matter
Space: Setting up your life to support you
Faith: Believing in something greater
Work: Living your life’s purpose
Money: Attracting the prosperity you desire
I invite you to join us on this journey and I challenge you to identify one thing you really want in each one of the pillars for 2021. Think about what your life could look like at the end of the month, the quarter and the year, and we will determine the steps to get you there. You were created for purpose, let’s redefine wealth together.

Season of Surprises: A Recap of 2020
Thursday Dec 31, 2020
Thursday Dec 31, 2020
It comes as no surprise that 2020 has been a year of unusual and unexpected surprises. In March of 2020, our lives changed forever because what started as a two week call to quarantine turned into a worldwide pandemic.
From the millions of Americans who lost their jobs, to the millions who gathered in solidarity to address racial and social injustices, 2020 also challenged our health with Covid-19 and led to the isolation and financial downfall of so many families. This year brought surprises that none of us were prepared for, but even in the midst of a season of surprises, we still have a responsibility to show up for ourselves, for the people we’re called to serve, and for our purpose.
In any season, we need to have a strong foundation in order to build and sustain the wealth that we desire. Pandemic aside, our purpose is not postponed. We are each called to do something and our calling doesn’t quit because of unexpected events. We have to be ready to rise to the occasion at every moment and 2020 was proof that greatness requires resistance. When faced with resistance we develop the tenacity to persevere, to work harder, to think outside of the box, to help each other, and to grow into the purpose chaser we are created to be.
When I look back over this year, I’m surprised not just by Covid-19 or social unrest, I am surprised by who I have become in the process. I am surprised by the deeper level of clarity I have gained, how I unintentionally figured out who I wanted to serve, and how I’ve come to understand what I do and do not want for my life.
As we wrap up this year and move into 2021, I want you reflect on these 3 questions:
What did 2020 come to teach you?
What did 2020 come to show you?
What did 2020 come to share with you?
Allow your answers to these questions to teach you a lesson and try turning your surprises into strengths. It’s time to ascend to new levels in 2021. Get ready, remain in alignment, seek wisdom, chase purpose and join me in the new year as we continue to redefine wealth.

Thursday Dec 24, 2020
Do you enjoy alone time and do your best thinking alone? Have you ever been told you’re too intense? How about networking, do you feel like you’re faking it when you have to network?
If the answer is yes to any of these questions then you may be an introvert. In my work with Purpose to Platform, I’ve heard so many women consider themselves introverts. They usually admit to not being comfortable on camera, or speaking up in coaching sessions, or even stepping outside of their comfort zone to pursue their purpose. But the amazing thing about introversion is that it doesn’t have to prevent your success or your ability to chase your purpose.
After listening to a podcast called “No Small Talk”, I finally realized that I am indeed an introvert. In this episode I wanted to bring in the hosts to discuss how you can be a thriving introvert in an extrovert driven industry.
Ebony Omede and Sherry Balogun are the dynamic hosts of the “No Small Talk” Podcast - a lively space for introverts looking to build connections and level up in their personal and professional lives. Through conversation starters, interviews and discussions, they help introverts connect with others naturally and confidently without the small talk.
