One Year Anniversary: The Impact of Redefining Wealth
Thursday Sep 13, 2018
Thursday Sep 13, 2018
It’s our anniversary!
What a first year in podcasting it’s been.
It was always my dream to build a community of people who want to become their best selves together. I have that now.
This episode is all about sharing the impact that the podcast has had on you, but I want to make sure you know how it has affected me. I’ve blossomed as a woman, as a mother, and as a wife.
I feel like I have the world’s largest accountability group.
It’s one thing to work through the pillars on your own, and another to be held accountable.
That’s why I asked you to call in and let me know how the pillars have affected your life!
This is not just my anniversary, this is our anniversary.
I hope you enjoy this special anniversary edition of Redefining Wealth.
CLIFF NOTES:
You can be proud of yourself and still know there is work to be done.
You can know what you need to do, but what do your actions show?
Choose peace on purpose.
Clutter is the physical manifestation of chaos in our mind.
There’s someone watching you who has the power to bless you.
I don’t think that any of us would be any closer to the wealth we desire without making faith a priority.
Strive to be the same person online as you are in person.
I now have a patreon! Support at iamapurposechaser.com

I’m Not Above Backing Out
Thursday Sep 06, 2018
Thursday Sep 06, 2018
So many times we say “yes” knowing that it’s a “no.”
Why do we agree to do things that we don’t want to do?
Most of the time, we’re worried about pleasing others instead of honoring ourselves.
In this episode, I talk about my latest team retreat and how I recommitted to my 2018 goal of simplicity. In order for me to finish the year strong, I have to let go of the stuff that makes me busy but not necessarily profitable.
I realized I can’t be selective with what I’m willing to simplify. I was willing to let go of material possessions, but not willing to let go of opportunities in my career.
If you’ve made commitments that you don’t have the time, resources or head space to complete, you can back out. You can do it with grace and dignity, but first and foremost, you have to do it for yourself.
Download this episode and learn three easy steps to say “NO!” to things that are no longer serving you. Let’s grow together.
CLIFF NOTES
Don’t be busy holding on to opportunities that are out of season.
You can’t be selective with what you’re willing to simplify
Check in with what matters every day.
Stop compromising your time, money, and peace to be liked.
Detach yourself from the outcome when you say “no.”
The wrong reasons to say “yes” are for likes, fear of abandonment, or to avoid conflict.
When we self-sabotage, we bring down the people who actually want to support us.
The people you may be bending over backwards to show up for, may not even care as much as you think.
If you’ve made commitments, you can still back out with grace.

Billionaire P.A.: Your Mind is Wealthy
Thursday Aug 30, 2018
Thursday Aug 30, 2018
I’m not a great employee, but I’m a phenomenal entrepreneur.
After college, I didn’t look for a job, and I didn’t go to graduate school. Instead, I started a business. People told me I needed to have a backup plan. I said, “My backup plan is to focus on my first plan!”
You can spend your time working on other people’s dreams, or you can work to realize your own.
My husband once gave me a shirt that read “I don’t look for jobs, I create them.” I connected with that shirt. This shirt was from the mind of Billionaire P.A.
On this episode of Redefining Wealth, I talk with Billionaire P.A. about manifesting dreams.
Billionaire has a truly remarkable story: he was homeless and living in his car when he transformed his hopeless mindset into what he calls a “wealthy mind.” Now, he has a TEDx Talk with over 400,000 views, a Wealthy Minds clothing line, and a book he boldly sells for $63.36. His goal is to inspire billions of people to speak their dreams into existence.
Are you setting yourself up for success in all areas? Are you on your way to manifesting the life you were created to have?
Download this episode today to learn how Billionaire P.A. went from the brink of despair to inspiring billions of people to live their dreams.

Lori Harder: You Need a Tribe
Thursday Aug 16, 2018
Thursday Aug 16, 2018
There’s one thing you’ve heard me say again and again: you can’t do it alone. It’s true, but creating the tribe you actually need to build is more complicated than you might realize.
First of all, make sure people earn the right to be in your tribe. No one gets a free pass and just because you like someone, doesn’t necessarily mean they belong in your tribe.
They need to be adding value to you and your purpose in some form or fashion.
That doesn’t mean you are using people. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. A tribe doesn’t all work for one, they work together to ensure that everyone benefits. If people feel like they aren’t getting as much as they are giving, they won’t want to be part of the tribe.
And to make sure they are feeling as much fulfillment, here’s the key ingredient: communication. Make sure that you are clear about everything with everyone in your tribe. Don’t assume they know what you are thinking, what you want or what you like because they don’t. Likewise, if you don’t know what they are thinking, ask them.
Recently, I read an amazing book on the subject: A Tribe Called Bliss by Lori Harder.
Lori and I spent some time together discussing so much about this topic, and we were even on each other’s podcast. So, as soon as you finish my show, go listen to hers because what we discuss there is just as powerful and about something completely different.
If you don’t know Lori, she is a leading expert in the field of fitness, transformational work, mindfulness, and self-love. She has grown two multi-million dollar businesses as a successful entrepreneur and network marketing professional.
She is also an author, cover model, and three-time fitness world champion, who offers a carefully curated set of practical tools to promote sustainable health, spiritual well-being, and financial freedom.
Through her books, unique coaching methods, and programs, she has helped countless people connect with their soul, transform their bodies, empower their minds, gain financial independence, and fall in love with themselves and their lives.
Throughout her career, Lori has regularly appeared on the covers of and published articles for Oxygen Magazine, STRONG Fitness Magazine, Health & Fitness Magazine and Prosper Magazine. She has also been featured on NBC, Fox, and TLC networks.

Vernon Ross: Answer the Call
Thursday Jul 26, 2018
Thursday Jul 26, 2018
There’s one thing you can’t be afraid to do in this world: ask for help.
Many times that’s what holds us back. We dream about achieving greater things, but we have no idea how to get there.
The secret is to keep moving and ask questions along the way. Just by moving you’ll get further than most people. The average person will just stay in one spot.
Progress can only be made through trial and error, so get out there and work at it. As you go, you’ll find people along the way who can give you advice, and help you grow in the direction you want to go.
This podcast is the perfect example of this. Most people would be too intimidated by the choices in recording equipment, or trying to find out what an RSS feed is. If I acted like a “normal” person I’d give up before I even started.
Instead, I made this show happen in three weeks. I learned everything I could, reached out to everyone who seemed like they’d help. I even went to a podcast convention called Podcast Movement to connect with engineers, who are now helping me make this show.
Since that two week push I’ve released 50 episodes, built a large audience (which I’m grateful for) and now I’m scheduled to speak at that same convention later this week.
None of it would have happened if I just sat there dreaming or feeling overwhelmed.
And to be honest, I couldn’t have made this show happen if it wasn’t for a big help from Vernon Ross. I know I’ve mentioned him on this show so many times before, but I felt I needed to bring him on so you all can learn from him as well.
On this episode of Redefining Wealth, Vernon was kind enough to share his insights on building an audience and how you can really build a platform that best fits you.
Download this episode now, and hear some amazing insights from the man who made this show possible.

The Blessing of Downsizing
Thursday Jul 19, 2018
Thursday Jul 19, 2018
One of the hardest things you can do in life is let go. No matter what it is, people or things, it can be a challenge to get it out of your life.
If you want to grow, however, you need to cut out what isn’t working. That’s why we prune trees, so that they can grow bigger and healthier than ever before.
Cutting away the dead branches low on a tree that doesn’t get sunlight anymore, allows the tree to use its energy to maximize its efforts.
That’s exactly what you need to do. Constantly re-evaluate what you have in your life. Our dreams and visions shift all the time, and think about if the things you accumulated are really helping your new vision or not.
And it’s not just people or items that may be holding you back from growth. It might even be your mindset.
Think about how you look at things, maybe it was even a mindset your parents taught you about the world. Is it really serving you, or should you start looking at things differently?
On this episode of Redefining Wealth I wanted to take a moment and share with you the transition I have been going through in my life.
I decided it was time to cut back in life so that I, and my family, can grow even larger than ever before.
We’ve been detoxing our lives, and I even had my husband come on to share his experiences throughout the process.
So download this episode today and learn what we all need to evaluate and trim out of our lives.

Brittney Castro: When Life Happens
Thursday Jul 12, 2018
Thursday Jul 12, 2018
One of the most overlooked things from people is a savings. People think they’ll always be able to work, but in reality you never know what can happen.
Even if you eat the perfect diet, exercise everyday, and really take care of your body things can (and will) still go wrong.
Let’s face it, if something happens like you get hit by a car wouldn’t you rather have the option to rest and recover than not?
And a savings isn’t just there for a rainy day. You may need it in order to get in on that dream investment opportunity, or to be able to (finally) start working for yourself instead of someone else.
The point is, life happens. You never know what’s happening tomorrow: but you have to be ready for whatever God is going to throw at you next.
To go more into this I brought on a very special guest, who went through one of the most traumatic life changing events you can image: Brittney Castro.
Brittney is the founder and CEO of Financially Wise Women, a Los Angeles-based financial planning firm whose mission is to teach women and couples the art of managing their money the fun and simple way.
As a Certified Financial Planner™, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Accredited Asset Management Specialist, entrepreneur and speaker, Brittney works with busy professional women and couples who are ready to make their finances work for them and use their money to live the lives of their dreams.
After years of working in the male-dominated world of financial planning, Brittney realized she wanted to work with clients the same way she talks about money with her girlfriends–in a smart, personal, feminine way that’s compassionate, fun and nonjudgmental.
Brittney has become a well-known financial expert and a go-to resource for national media outlets.
She’s been featured on CNN, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CBS, KTLA, Fox 11 News, Glamour, Elle, Marie Claire, Darling, Entrepreneur, Woman’s World, Financial Planning, Investment News, Registered Rep magazine and many more.
She’s also a coveted speaker and host, and she loves spreading her wisdom about finance, entrepreneurship and smart investing to the masses.
So download this episode to learn about how you can get your finances in order, and the journey she had to take in order to get there.
